At the Mount Vernon Financial Empowerment Center, our dedicated and professionally trained financial counselors are here to support you on your financial journey. Offering 100% free, confidential, secure, and personalized one-on-one counseling, our experts are ready to help you master budgeting, build savings, navigate banking, reduce debt, and improve your credit scores. We also provide guidance on student loans, retirement planning, and much more.

Ashley Britton

Program Manager

Hi, I’m Ashley Britton, Program Manager at the Mount Vernon Financial Empowerment Center. Raised right here in Mount Vernon and a proud graduate of our city schools, this community — and Westchester County as a whole — holds a special place in my heart.

My mission is to help break the cycle of financial insecurity by empowering residents across our county to build stability, confidence, and a lasting legacy. Together, we’re creating a stronger, more financially secure Mount Vernon — and a thriving Westchester County — one family at a time.

Hi, my name is Adenike Egunjobi. I am a Financial Counselor for the Mount Vernon Financial Empowerment Center. Throughout the years I have worked in various fields that have garnered me into social work.
